Dr. Louis Rosenberg
Founder and Chief Scientist
Dr. Louis Rosenberg founded Unanimous AI to pursue a crazy idea – that we can amplify the intelligence of human groups by developing a new form of AI based on the biological principles of Swarm Intelligence. The idea panned out, resulting in Swarm AI technology, a powerful method amplifying group intelligence that has been validated by over 20 academic papers, has been funded by NSF, and was named “AI Innovation of the Year” at SXSW.
Rosenberg began his technological career at Stanford University where he earned his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees. His doctoral work focused on robotics, virtual reality, and human-computer systems. While working as a graduate researcher at the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (Armstrong Labs) in the early 1990’s, Rosenberg created the ‘Virtual Fixtures’ platform, the first immersive Augmented Reality system ever built.
Rosenberg then founded Immersion Corporation to pursue virtual reality technologies. As CEO of Immersion, he brought the company public (NASDAQ: IMMR) in 1999. Rosenberg also founded Microscribe, maker of the world’s first desktop 3D digitizer – the Microscribe 3D – which has been used in the production of countless feature films, including Shrek, Ice Age, and A Bugs Life (acquired in 2009).
Rosenberg also founded Outland Research, a developer of advanced interfaces for mobile devices and augmented reality (acquired in 2012). He has also worked as a tenured Professor at California Polytechnic (Cal Poly), teaching engineering, design, and entrepreneurship.
A prolific inventor and researcher, Louis Rosenberg has been awarded more than 300 patents worldwide for his technological efforts in virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and human computer-interaction.
He currently lives in sunny California with his wife and kids, as a longtime vegan and friend of all animals, big and small.

Mohamed BALGHOUTHI
Since 2010, Mohamed Balghouthi has been the Director of MB Consulting, a consultancy in Industrial Purchasing & Business Intelligence for several companies, institutions and universities.
3 periods, 3 commitments.
1/Arts & Commerce: Electrical Engineering + Bachelor of Sciences in Mathematics & Physics, worked for 10 years in Artistic Management and Commerce.
2/Industry & Systemic Approach : in 2004 he resumed his studies at the National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble (Grenoble INP), then at the Grenoble School of Management (Grenoble EM) where he obtained a diploma in Technical Management in Industrial Engineering.
Quickly he was hired by a multinational company (Schneider-Electric) as a cross-functional project manager for the reorganization in the global purchasing department.
Breaking down the entire value chain and the Purchase/Suppliers ecosystem, he develops new systemic purchasing tools. Schneider-Electric achieving economies of scale of more than 20% in terms of operating results.
Long-term purchasing strategies, a resilient ecosystem between buyer and supplier, sustainable gains for the company, far from short-term cost-killing methodologies.
3/Teaching & Civil Society :
*Teaching: since 2014, teaching Master of Economic Intelligence (Université Jean Moulin Lyon3) and Master of Purchasing & Supply Chain Management (IDRAC Business School). Supervision more than 40 students for their professional thesis. Modules: Purchasing Cost-Models, Sustainable Sourcing & Purchasing. With his students, he created a procurement audit tool measuring the performance and compliance of companies with the 17 SDGs.
*Tunisia & Africa : depth knowledge on the issue of mining, natural resources and economic intelligence. In 2013, elected "Personality of Civil Society in Tunisia " and received the "Open Gov Prize" for his fight on financial transparency + his contribution to article 13 of the New Tunisian Constitution.
*Genève : Founding member of the think-tank G4 Living Lab.
Antony Vitillo
I work with virtual and augmented reality technologies since 2014, when I co-founded Immotionar, a startup that aimed at adding full body of the user inside the virtual world.
In my startup journey I learnt a lot about this technologies, both on a development side (so, developing applications in Unity for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, etc...) and on a business side (management of a VR product, analysis of the evolution of the VR market, etc...). My company got some awards and press coverage, but at last it shut-down. So, now I'm offering what I've learnt in this long journey to companies and people who may need it.
Connecting with people has always been a passion, so for my company I've been blogger, social media manager and PR. Since august 2016 I've also my own blog The Ghost Howls, where I talk about virtual reality, augmented reality and startup life. This personal space is making me connect with many interesting people inside the VR ecosystem.
My previous experiences regards what I've studied at the university: I'm an engineer of the Politechnic of Turin and I've always loved development of any kind of applications, in particular the ones focused on computer vision and computer graphics.
Krzysztof Pietroszek
Dr. Pietroszek is an assistant professor in Film and Media Arts division of the School of Communication. He is the Founding Director of Immersive Designs, Experiences, Applications and Stories Lab (IDEAS Lab), an Associate Director of the Center for Environmental Filmmaking, and is also affiliated with the Game Lab, and the Department of Computer Science. Krzysztof teaches immersive filmmaking courses in the undergraduate and graduate film programs and game development courses. His research interests include application of machine learning to media, designing volumetric cameras and telemedicine equipment, and developing technologies related to creating films and interacting in virtual and augmented reality.
Dr. Pietroszek is also a filmmaker, who produced an award-winning feature film ("Waiting for Summer"), wrote and directed six short fiction and documentary films ("Private Apocalypse of Tim", "Agape", "Daniel", "Eve", "Greenscreen", and "Vera"), and created a transmedia mixed-reality experience ("Vera").
Krzysztof also developed several VR video games ("Cube VR", "Chessnaught VR") and published over 40 peer-reviewed research papers. Dr. Pietroszek's research is supported by National Science Foundation, Canada Media Fund, private industry partners, and other federal funding agencies. To date, Krzysztof raised nearly 3,000,000 USD in various funding.
A true explorer, Krzysztof hitch-hiked 30,000 miles, climbed Kilimanjaro, Mt Blanc, almost died at Matterhorn, and backpacked in over 60 countries.
