The new “One” HMD was announced today at Vancouver ACM SIGGRAPH 2018 and the demo I saw was built & optimized on the Zerolight real-time 3D visualisation platform.
Design Enhancements & Improvements:
1. 210 degree FOV
2. Tobii AB Eye tracking (120 Hz) & 90 FPS
a. Eye gaze data for analytics
3. AMOLED display with full RGB pixels & 16 million sub-pixels or 5K
4. Foveated Rendering (Dynamic)
5. Automatic IPD
6. SteamVR & custom optical tracking rig compatible (XT option)
The level of detail, raytracing & light field correction, color fidelity, sharpness and a natural peripheral vision FOV creates an incredibly photorealistic world!

If I can procure a unit, I will configure QTY 2 110 FOV stereo pass-through Zed ’s and stitch them together for an immersive 210 degree “Mixed Reality” visual experience.
Adding a Leap Motion for complete skeletal hand tracking support is an ideal accessory and would round out the sensor suite.
