Virtual reality is considered to be the next big revolution in the consumption of media content (film, video), but also in the professional field, in areas such as education, journalism or health. The continuing appearance of virtual reality devices, increasingly affordable for all types of users, turns this technology into one of the most prominent trends in the digital economy. This seminar, organized together with The App Date, shows some of the VR applications that are expected to have major impact in the near future and discusses the technological challenges that need to be addressed to provide the best user experience.
