Black River Studios is one of the more interesting developers working in mobile VR. The team’s Finding Monsters was one of the few VR games of the time to be aimed at children, and the studio has since released fascinating experiments like Rococo. Now the developer’s next game is here.
Angest is a story-driven adventure in which you play as Valentina, a cosmonaut aboard a spaceship run by an AI known at Konstantin. You explore the ship in first-person, but you soon start to have your perceptions of reality challenged. It looks like a pretty intriguing narrative and you can expect your own actions to influence the outcome.
Best of all, Angest is absolutely free for Gear VR owners, so you have no excuse not to give it a try.
