Want to test the latest features for Sony’s PlayStation VR (PSVR) headset before anyone else? Here’s your chance.

The company this week launched sign ups to test the beta for the next version of PS4’s System Software. Details on what the update will actually include aren’t yet known, but there’s likely to be a few tweaks for PSVR included in the mix. All you need to do is head to this site (or here if you’re in Europe), enter your PlayStation account name and you’ll be in with a shot of testing the update out within the next few weeks. The full release will likely come a little after that.

Previously, Sony has added features like 3D Blu-ray playback and enhanced streaming to PSVR via these updates. There’s plenty we’d like to see added to the headset from the software perspective, like native menus instead of simply using the PS4’s standard UI on a virtual screen. PS4 System Software updates usually come with a dedicated PSVR software update too, which includes other little tweaks and fixes.

What would you like to see improved in the next system software update?
