OC4: Pixar Headed Into Virtual Reality With Coco VR

Pixar’s first foray into the world of virtual reality — Coco VR — was announced today during the Oculus Connect 4 keynote.

Directed by Ross Haldane Stevenson and produced by Marc Sondheimer, Coco VR is a multi-user social VR experience set in the same world as Pixar’s upcoming Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)-inspired film Coco. Not much about the experience is known other than you’ll be able to jump in and explore the world with other players.

Coco VR will be available on Oculus Rift November 15, 2017, and the following week on November 22 for Gear VR.
