Ray-Ban AR, No Man’s Sky PSVR & Win Groundhog Day VR: VRecap

Good news for PSVR owners this week!

This week’s VRecap is just how you like it: short and sweet and to the point! We have three big stories that mainly concern you PSVR owners out there, one for the AR lurkers, and a fun giveaway for PC VR users.

PlayStation finally announced its next State of Play, which is their answer to Nintendo Direct, and we’re seriously hoping for some big PSVR nuggets – it’s been too long and I’m still having flashbacks to how awesome E3 2017 was. We would at least like some Iron Man VR news.

Imagine a world where you can wear AR glasses and not stick out like a sore thumb – well, that’s what Facebook has done and they’re teaming up with the only company that could save us from goofy AR glasses: Ray-Ban! I wonder if they’ll come as aviators… That’s probably asking for too much.

And yes, No Man’s Sky on PSVR has been upgraded from PS2 graphics to PS3! I kid, but it’s not too far from the truth. The 1.12 update is a welcome one, despite it not quite getting it up to PC-standards (and I wonder if we’ll just have to wait for the next gen of PSVRs?).

We’ve got a great little set of releases this week, all of which you can find trailers and/or reviews for on our YouTube channel! Hey, why not subscribe if you haven’t already?

Finally, the bit you’ve been looking for: the competition! Win one of our five copies of Groundhog Day: Like Father Like Son for SteamVR by entering below. You can also see what Jamie thought of it here in our review.

GIVEAWAY: Win A Free Copy Of Groundhog Day: Like Father Like Son VR On Steam

That’s all for this week, but please do leave us a comment, share this around if you enjoyed it, and check back next week for another round-up of the week’s biggest VR and AR news. Ciao!
