Terminal 17 is a Warehouse-Scale Multiplayer Shooter From VRstudios

Terminal 17

When VRstudios announced their warehouse-scale VR technology VRcade Arena last month, they had no games to go along with their impressive new platform. That changes today with the announcement of Terminal 17, a warehouse-scale, multiplayer shooter that borrows co-op puzzle-solving elements from escape rooms.

Built using Unity and NVIDIA VRWorks, Terminal 17 asks an eight-player squad to sweep a planetary installation on a distant world and exterminate the insects wreaking havoc there. Along the way, they’ll encounter puzzles, boss fights, and hidden passages. Currently, the experience offers two episodes.

Terminal 17 is currently in development at VRstudios in Bellvue, Washington, and will be available to the public sometime in October. The location has not yet been specified. Interested buyers can experience the demo in November, at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo in Orlando, Florida.
