Wolf & Wood Interactive’s Chair In A Room: Greenwater was an early showcase for the terrors that VR horror games would bring our way. For its latest project, the developer is working on one of the most well-known horror franchises of all time; The Exorcist.

The Exorcist: Legion VR, as the game is called, is an episodic horror adventure game that has players taking part in a series of exorcisms, published by Legion VR. The game’s Steam page describes it as a mix of investigation, exorcism and horror. Different episodes will pit you against different demons with different weapons, including trademark tools and hidden artifacts.

Check out the first trailers below, though they don’t reveal much.

The game is set to unfold over five chapters, with the first two launching on HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR this month. Episode three will then follow in November, four will come in December and the series will wrap up in January 2018. On average, each episode will last between 20 to 25 minutes, so expect about two hours’ playtime overall.
